-Lucia Light Experience-
12/26/2015 - San Marcos, Guatemala (Lake Atitlan)
The sun was beginning to set over the majestic Lake Atitlan and the sky blended seamlessly with the water on the distant horizon framed by breath taking active volcanic peaks on either side. My temporary residence was a small solar powered tin roof shack that sat nestled into the side of a hill overlooking the lake. There I sat in an old wicker chair and watched in awe as the clouds slowly shifted from a deep yellow-orange gradient to a stunning array of vibrant purples and crimsons.
The Lucia N°03 Light Machine was set up in front of a window that opened up to this stunning backdrop. I was about to embark on my first light journey since arriving at this magical volcanic mountain range just hours prior with my partner Allison.
I slowly and methodically chose a session allowing my intuition to guide me in my selection process. The session HU jumped out at once. I chose it and began to prepare by closing my eyes and taking a few deep breaths. Within seconds I was wrapped in an infinitely warm and welcoming glow that marked the beginning of another amazing adventure. This blanket of soft light lingered for a short time before giving way to a gentle flicker and I felt myself transported to a familiar and beautiful place.
After an astounding introduction comprised of a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors and geometric designs, an aerial view of the entire volcanic crater that is Lake Atitlan came appeared in my minds eye. Little by little, dimensions by dimension, a topographic map of the area materialized revealing not only the surface but also the inner workings of all of the tectonic plates and energetic activity associated with the volcano. Then the entire perspective from which I was viewing the scene shifted; almost as if one had pushed a zoom out button but on a planetary scale. I found myself viewing the same volcano as a small highlighted area on mother earth, which was now floating amidst the cosmos. From the lake burst a cone of energy, comprised of a grid like pattern, which appeared to be funneling energy to and from earth through a mysterious galactic channel of sorts. Different layers of the energy started to become obvious, each displaying a different color, opacity, density, and vibration. Every single cone like layer seemed to be interconnected with a different dimension in space, each containing it’s own feel and inherent knowledge.
I cycled through a series of them noticing the different qualities of each. Some were very organic and contained energy resembling flowers and vegetation that swirled around grid like planes which in turn folded in and out of one another in a dynamic fashion. Others were mechanical in nature and full of twisting gears and fluid robotic objects. The visual representation of energy in each seemed to have little in common save for the feeling that they were all linked with a vast and infinite source of knowledge. The perspective zoomed out again revealing that there was a constant exchange of this etheric knowledge between each dimension and the lake Atitlan.
I was then sucked into an energy vortex of sorts and teleported back to the lake where I found myself submerged under water amidst the many intricate designs of varying colors. These designs seemed to be created by all of this universal knowledge colliding with it’s earthly physical makeup. The merging of the two seemed to create a sort of cellular vibration that spread through all things and carried a unifying humm. I felt deeply moved by this vibration which passed through me holding me in a state of complete and utter bliss.
It was at this time that each and every water molecule revealed itself to me in perfect unison. They went on to break down into an even smaller energetic identity each with it’s own aura and personality. In a wonderfully playful manner they began to swirl around a large and mysterious cylindrical object located at the bottom of the lake. It’s features were hidden under a thick vail of shadows and algae. Its power appeared to be immense and almost daunting, however the overwhelming sense of peace and tranquility drowned out any feeling of anxiety that I possibly could have had. There I stayed for a good period of time fully intertwined with an intrinsic feeling of oneness and new found understanding of the true relational inter-workings of the earth and all that lies beyond in this vast and limitless plateau that we refer to as the cosmos.
It was around this time that the light shut off and when it did I was instantly struck with a longing to return to this beautiful space. I took a few deep breaths absorbing the experience into the very core of my being. I felt almost overwhelmed with the amount of knowledge that I had just received and was at a complete loss for words that would allow me to properly convey what had just transpired. There was so much depth to each energetic realm that there simply were not earthly words to describe them. I was infinitely grateful.
When I finally brought myself to gently open my eyelids I was met with the warm glow of a candle still burning in the window sill. Night had fallen and now all that was visible were the outlines of the lush plant life barely visible from the windowsill on which the Lucia was nestled in front of me. Rubbing my eyes with my hands I brought my awareness fully back into my physical form. I first noticed that I felt lighter and as though I had cleared any and all stagnant energy from my body. Something inside of me screamed out, I wanted to celebrate this new found awareness, capture it in words and share it with everyone willing to listen. But alas I was so relaxed and suddenly exhausted that it was all I could do to make a mental note of it’s brilliance and join my now sleeping partner in bed.
